    One of the exceptional natural marvels in the world- The great migration. Millions of wildebeest, accompanied by huge numbers of zebras, impalas, gazelles and elands move across the greater Masai Mara-Serengeti grasslands annually. The Mara River crossing activity is the main attraction of the migration period. During this, we get to witness the constant battle for survival of both- the prey and the predator. It manages to create a range of emotions amongst the spectators.

    If it is not in the list of your favourite Jungles, well, You haven’t been to Kanha yet! Located in the state of Madhya Pradesh, this scenic reserve is one of India’s largest national parks comprising of 2051 sq. km area- 940 sq. km is core and 1134 sq. km is buffer forest.

    It is famous not only for tigers but as the last remaining habitat of the hard ground barasingha. Lush sal and bamboo forests are spread with expansive grassy meadows known as maidans. Banjaar River, the lifeline of the park provides a steady water source for the abundant wildlife.

    Ruling the tiger state of India, Madhya Pradesh, Bandhavgarh National Park is famous among wildlife lovers worldwide, for the ease of sightings of the marvellous big cat. A sprawling of 437 sq. km. protected area is surrounded by huge cliffs and adorned by dense foliage of the Vindhyachal forests. It has a very profound importance of in the history and mythology of India because of the Bandhavgarh fort – dating back to the mythological era of Rama and Hanuman from the Hindu epic ‘Ramayana’.

    Hidden treasure in the hills of Yavatmal district of Maharashtra, Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary covers an area of 148.63sq.kms. As some of the main rivers of Maharashtra- Krishna, Bhima, Tapti, Purna run through the park, a lot of area is covered with forests of firewood, timber, and teak. The mosaic of vegetation, from green hills to dry, deciduous forests, creates a range of habitats for India’s exotic wildlife. You can find a variety of species like the Royal Bengal Tiger, Hyena, Chital, Blackbuck, Sambar, Jackal, Wild Boar, Wildcat and sloth bear- and to our surprise, many beautiful birds too!
